I was always amazed with his athletic abilities. He would ride 50 miles in one day around the hills of Ithaca on his bike and act like it was nothing. On numerous occasions, I found him training in our basement, even in the winter. He was much more mature than most of us, and a respected, quiet leader in our fraternity.
